Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) vide advertisement no.4/2016 has advertised 492 posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon for the Animal Husbandary Department of the Madhya Pradesh Government. The MPPSC invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon and the last date of submission of online application is 30.6.2016. The advertisement was issued by the MPPSC on 18.5.2016 for these posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. The details of posts, examination and selection procedure and other information are given below :

Education Qualification :- The candidate must have graduation degree in Veterinary Science from any recognized university or institution. The candidate must have been registered with Madhya Pradesh State Veterinary Council and the registration of the candidate should be permanent.
Age :- The age should be between 21-40 years for M.P. candidates and 21 to 35 for other State candidates, as on 1.1.2017. The relaxation in age will be given as per the government instructions issued from time to time.
Fee :- A fee of Rs.1200/- for general category candidates of MP and all other candidates belonging to other States. A fee of Rs.600/- is for reserve category candidates.
Selection Procedure :- The MPPSC will conduct online examination on 25.9.2016 at Bhopal and Indore. The examination will be of two hours i.e. from 2 pm to 4 pm and this paper will be of 300 marks. The candidates who will qualify this online examination, will be called for document verification and the candidates who will be found eligible as per their verification of documents, will be further called for interview. The interview will be of 35 marks and the merit list will be prepared from 335 marks i.e. 300 marks for online examination and 35 marks for interview.
The candidates have to qualify the online examination by obtaining atleast 40% marks in the examination. The 10% relaxation in cut of marks for qualifying the online examination will be given to the candidates belonging to reserve category, as such, the reserve category candidates should have qualify the online examination by obtaining atleast 30 marks.
The MPPSC issued advertisement for the Post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (IInd Class) on 18.5.2016 and the last date of submission of online application is 30.6.2016 and if there is any error in the application, then the same can be corrected from 10.6.2016 to 2.7.2016 by making payment of Rs.50/- for each correction.
The candidates can apply for these posts online on the official website of the MPPSC and after submission of application form, the candidates can download their admit card from the official website only from 3.9.2016 to 23.9.2016. The online examination will be conducted on 25.9.2016 at two of its centres at Bhopal and Indore respectively.
The candidates are advised to while applying online to the above posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon issued by MPPSC, give their e-mail address and mobile number, so that their result can be sent at their e-mail address or through SMS on their mobile number.
The candidates are further advised to, before filling up the application form online, please go through the detail information and instructions given in the advertisement issued by the MPPSC while issuing the same on 18.5.2016. The application form will be filled up online only and the same can be filled up by visiting on the official website www.mppsc.nic.in of the Public Service Commission and the candidate can also down load their respective admit card from the same very website i.e. www.mppsc.nic.in or www.mppsc.com of the MPPSC.
The selection to these posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon will be made by the MPPSC purely on the basis of merit list prepared by the Commission on the basis of Online examination and the interview conducted by the interview committee. After the selection, on joining, the candidates will be kept for two years on probation service.
